5. Cloud Services

Patriot Documents may offer cloud services in the future that allow users to read, edit, process PDF files, work across multiple devices, sign documents, and collaborate online. If and when such cloud services are made available, files may be uploaded or created when you use these services, and other content or usage data may also be created.

If cloud services are offered, all files you upload and data you create using the services will be stored on an appropriate server infrastructure for processing. Unless you choose to store the files and data on a Patriot Documents server for later usage, files uploaded for processing will be deleted once the process is completed. We will keep the files for the sole purpose of giving you and your designated third parties access to the files and data for as long as you need access. During that time, we neither look at the files nor mine any data from them.

13. Storage Time

We will process and keep most of the personal data related to your account until you cease to be an active user of our Products and Services. If you request for your account to be removed, we will delete personal data related to your account; however, personal data related to contract and business transactions will be retained for ten (10) years from the last year of the business relationship.

If you have consented for your personal data to be processed for a specific purpose such as marketing, then we will continue to process such data until you ask us to stop, and then for a period within four (4) business days until your request has been processed. When your request is processed, we also create a permanent record of the request to ensure that it is respected in the future.

If you have created an account with Patriot Documents, access to this account is only possible after entering your personal password. You should always keep your access information confidential and close the browser window when you stop communicating with us, especially if you share your computer with others.
